Worcester Arts and Vintage Events
(WAVE) are holding their first Vintage and Craft Fair of 2010 on Saturday 13th February.
It will be held at their usual venue: St Helen's Church, Fish Street
(at the top of Worcester High Street) from 10am until 5pm.
There will be an eclectic mix of vintage clothing, accessories and handmade goods
with a vintage, recycled or 'Make Do and Mend' twist, provided by stallholders from Worcester,
Hereford, Birmingham and beyond.
"This will be our most romantic Fair yet!" Explains co-organiser Clare Bridge, of
Second Hand Rose in The Hopmarket. "The Vintage Valentine theme will be reflected in the music,
decorations and even the cakes!"
"Many of the craft stallholders are also making items with a Valentine's theme and there'll
be the usual great mix of unique and one off vintage clothing and accessories for sale."
said Loll Newman, of Toadstool Vintage, The Tything.
The event will also include teas and cakes from RoyalTea vintage teashop.
WAVE is a 'not for profit' collective of independent, Worcester-based vintage retailers
and arts organisers.
