Make and Market is the first monthly arts, crafts and flea market in Newcastle. Showcasing new creative talent in the area, the event
gives people the chance to recyle quality items which are no longer in use - helping to keep them out of landfill.
Alternating between Grainer Arcade in Newcastle City Centre and the Star and Shadow Cinema in Ouseburn, Newcastle (built and run
entirely by volunteers - all revenue from stall hire is donated to this venue), the market has been running for almost two years and is
a fantastic alternative to high street shopping.
Markets are planned for November and December 2009:
Sun 8th November in the Star and Shadow Cinema, Stepney Bank, Ouseburn, Newcastle from 11am - 4pm.
Sun 6th December in the Star and Shadow Cinema, Stepney Bank, Ouseburn, Newcastle from 11am - 4pm.
