The Children's Jewellery Company
have hugely extended their non-slip hair clip
range, and put the new clips through some
vigorous testing with real mums and girls. Using Twitter, the company contacted many of the top 100 "UK mummy bloggers" and
a cross section of other mums, and asked them to road test the new range.
The feedback was amazing; the mums were delighted that the clips stayed in, even in fine hair. One mother Kate Able-Green said
"My daughter absolutely loved it and straight away asked if she could wear it to school the next day! The packaging was gorgeous,
and made it a really special parcel to receive in the post, and magically the clip actually stays in! Which is a first, as she has
really shiny hair and she often ends up taking clips out as they drive her mad? So, all in all, she loves it and I love it!"
Cheryl from Mad House Family Reviews Blog said "the test that many clips fail on is pulling them out afterwards. Lots of times,
hair gets caught in the clip and gets ripped out creating lots of whining and whinging! - No problems at all with these clips – Top Marks!"
Harriet McAlonan from The Children's Jewellery Company "A few people said it was a risky strategy to test our clips on such
influential mummies, such as the mummy bloggers. However, we needed honest feedback about the styling and quality of the clips,
before we launched them to the public, and these ladies and their daughters were just the right people to do it"
Many of the clips have a retro feel to them, such as the "Loveheart" clips in the style of a favourite childhood sweet, or the
chintzy flowered heart clip. Harriet McAlonan again "One of the styles that was a big hit with our testers was the button clips,
a simple design, but our mums loved the fact we can make them to order in school colours. It seems that clips that are stylish,
yet understated enough for school and in the right school colours are near impossible to find!"
The new range of
hair clips are available to buy now at
www.thechildrensjewellerycompany.co.uk
with prices starting from as little as £3.50. More designs are being added weekly, including limited editions, such as the Easter range.
