Please excuse the dust!
Thats right! We're hard at work at the moment, making a number of improvements to handmade-crafts.co.uk,
which we will be releasing over the next couple of weeks. Some of these are relatively trivial changes,
others are more significant and many won't be visible, but will give us the ability to update the site
much more easily and to build a far more active blog.
Coming up very soon are:
The ability for you to report broken links from our craft directory
A map on our events page shown all of the current craft events listed
The migration of our blog and press releases to Cloudeware CMS so that we can update them more easily
But as ever, we'd like to know what you would like to see, so don't be shy - tell us how we could improve this site.
What would you like to be able to do that you can't? What might you like to work differently? We really do take
your feedback on board when we're working on things!
Giveaway sponsors wanted!
It's lovely to see our giveaways going from strength to strength - last month's was our busiest yet with really
good feedback from our sponsor, Artisan Silver
and attracting 120 entries as well as being viewed 831 times!
Would you like to grab the limelight? Well, this is your chance - we urgently need a sponsor for August (this month)
and are also looking for sponsors for October and December 2011 - not to mention all of 2012! So if you'd like to
get a bit of much deserved attention and to help us keep them going, please get in touch - either via the contact page,
leaving a comment here, or email to admin[at]handmade-crafts.co.uk.
Guest Posters also wanted!
If you're looking for a way to advertise your blog, then why not write a guest post for us? Just get in touch as
above and we can discuss suitable topics - we're particularly interested in 'how to' type posts that our readers
may find interesting - or projects which they could work through with you.
We'll keep you posted..
Thats all for now! Check back soon - we'll be updating the site in the coming days and hopefully you'll be
