November Giveaway - Becky Toughill Handmade Jewellery - EXTENDED

14/11/2012 - Matt Chatterley

Becky Toughill Handmade Jewellery - Beat the blues with Beautiful Beads!

Becky Toughill Handmade Jewellery Well, there's no denying it any longer - Christmas is on the way. Various "only X shopping days left.." countdowns have begun, and more importantly, lots of crafters have started to close their order books.

We won't be running a giveaway in December, as we feel there is generally a lot going on anyway - so we save it for January, which means this month's post is extra special - and we've got a lovely sponsor who is very kindly offering a lovely prize.

The rules are as ever: to enter, visit our sponsor's link(s) (at the end of the post) and post a comment here, telling us which of their makes you like the most. Entries are accepted at our discretion and the winner will be chosen at random. The giveaway will close at midnight on Thursday 22nd November 2012. [ED: Due to unforseen circumstances, we have extended the giveaway to midnight on Sunday 25/11/2012! Quick! Enter now!]

PS. We are still in dire need of sponsors for next year so if you're interested, please get in touch!

But for now, over to Becky!

Becky Toughill Handmade Jewellery Becky Toughill Handmade Jewellery is located on the Lincolnshire Rutland border and has a passion for sourcing, designing and recycling beautiful beads and turning them into totally unique, tactile treasures.

Working from her studio, Becky is also a textile designer and artist, so likes to bring these skills into the jewellery pieces she creates, such as with her paper necklaces and polymer cameos. For her, it is all about the journey of discovering new materials and combining them into something oozing with character. With eight years jewellery making experience, Becky also beautifully restores and repairs old beaded jewellery, as well as creating glamourous bespoke orders for the UK and abroad.

Becky stocks a range of small business boutiques and gift shops around the country and has her own online shops, but despite this, likes to keep her items niche, to maintain the unique character only a handmade piece of work can inspire.

For me the 'First Frost' bracelet is favourite. It's named perfectly as the bead colours do evoke thoughts of clear blue winter skies with the sun glistening down on ice crystals. Beautiful design :)
