21/05/2012

May Giveaway - Win a framed (and signed) Giclée print!

Victor the PuffinWell, here we are, in the British Monsoon season - waiting for the Jubilee (plus of course it's associated Bank Holidays) and hoping fervently that it'll bring us a little bit of sun for a change! But nevermind, chin up - we're bringing you the chance to win a beautiful prize from Gina at InkBison. You'll want to stay in just so you can look at it!

The rules are as usual: to enter, visit our sponsor's links (at the end of the post) and post a comment here, telling us which of their makes you like best. Entries are accepted at our discretion and the winner will be chosen at random. The giveaway will close at midnight on Sunday 27th May 2012.

If you'd like to sponsor a giveaway, please get in touch - we have something special lined up for the Jubilee, but the rest of the year is currently available for sponsors!

InkBison - hand painted creations in Indian ink

Dash - InkBisonHello there! I am Gina, a Guernsey based artist with a passion for ink. I grew up on the island where I spent lots of my childhood drawing and painting. When I was 18 I left Guernsey to study art and it was then that I discovered my love for Indian ink, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art in 2000.

After graduating I continued with my explorations in ink and now specialise in painting animals, as I believe they evoke such tremendous emotions.

I wanted to share my paintings and love of animals and decided to do this with the launch of InkBison, selling my creations in ink. With the hope of spreading joy, I turn my paintings into greeting cards (printed on high quality recycled card) and signed Giclée Fine Art prints (printed on lovely Somerset Velvet enhanced fine art paper). Originals painting can also be purchased and commissioned.

For this month's giveaway I would like to offer a framed signed Giclée fine art print. Choose your favourite painting (available as an A5 print) and I shall frame this for you in a matt black frame with white mount.

For extra special greetings and unique gifts; InkBison creations are available at www.inkbison.com. And if you wish to drop me a line please email me at gina@inkbison.com, I would be very happy to hear from you!

She reminds me of the day I got stuck in a field surrounded by cows. They backed me in to a big mud pit!
